10 Reasons I heart Albuquerque in the Spring

10. No longer freezing my tail when outside on recess duty at school.

9. Tulips (that were planted before we bought the house) blooming in the yard.

8. Spring fashion comes full force! I.really.don’t.like.winter.clothes. Which brings me to Liberty of London for Target. Please tell me you've been to Target like me recently and done laps just wondering what other fab floral prints are waiting for you around the corner? Love. it.

7. Watching Eldorado baseball.

6. Watching Volcano Vista track (It’s growing on me!)

5. “Borrowing” neighbors’ lilacs to help scent my home.

4. Spring forward daylight savings…I love that it doesn’t get dark until 8 o’clock.

3. My toes coming out of hibernation and being treated to a new shade, Commander in Chic.

2. Beautiful Albuquerque sunsets

1. Long walks with my sweetheart on cool early evenings.

I mean really, how cute is he? :)

He is Risen.

"It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour, for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." When he had said this, he breathed his last."
"On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.' " Then they remembered his words." Luke 22 & 24

Ryan and I had a wonderful Easter together with our family. We hosted our families and I made my first ham, and by "made" I mean, heated up my pre-cooked ham. It turned out delish!
