To Clovis and Lubbock.

This week Ryan and I made our way East to Lubbock by way of Clovis for a Tech football game. Our friends Matt and Michelle recently moved to Clovis and we stayed with them. Saturday morning we made our way to the 806 and did a little shopping (yes, I paid $24 for a Tech onesie for Baby G), a lot of eating, and plenty of rooting for the Red Raiders!

We had DELISH calzones at One Guy's...

When I was in school at Tech, Lubbock was a dry county. That meant we had to drive 20 minutes out of town for an adult beverage. Now Lubbock is a wet county and there were liquor stores everywhere. Blew my mind. :)

 Fight Raiders Fight!

This is the masked rider. My roommate Lindsey and I wanted to try out every year. That never happened.

 Get your guns up!

Ryan was a Raider for the night!

Here are our sweet friends with their girls, Mikayla and Madison. We joked that they have quite the B&B happening at their house! Thanks again for having us King Family!

Thank you, Pinterest.

Apparently I was one of the last to know about Pinterest and all of its glory, but after perusing for quite some time last weekend, I got this great idea for a fall wreath!

I covered a letter that I had with twine, and made the felt flowers. I even had the ribbon laying around, too! And if you've never made felt flowers, they're really easy.
 Welcome, Autumn!

I can't wait to see what other crafty goodness I can find!

We are Having a Baby.

After thinking about a super cute way to announce our pregnancy on the blog, I couldn't come up with a thing. And so, here it is...WE ARE HAVING A BABY! The Lord has truly blessed us with this gift and we couldn't be more thrilled and grateful. Baby Gilmore is set to arrive mid-April 2012. Your prayers for this baby are truly appreciated as we finish up the first trimester. We had an ultrasound last week and heard the little heartbeat. I cannot wrap my mind around the fact that there is a human with a heartbeat growing inside me. What a miracle.
